The Presidential Taskforce, established under Gazette Notice No. 3036 of 15th March 2024 and Gazette Notice No. 3664 of 28th March 2025, is mandated to oversee the development of the Kenya Home of Human Origins Museum and Science Park in the Lake Turkana Basin. This initiative aims to unlock the region’s tourism and investment potential for socio-economic transformation.
